About Spring Grove
The Borough of Spring Grove is located in southwestern York County, about seven miles southwest of York, PA and 4.5 miles off of US Route 30. The 2020 census population is 2,372 residents. It is the hub of the Spring Grove Area School District, which in addition to Spring Grove Borough, serves Heidelberg, Jackson, Paradise, North Codorus Townships, and Jefferson, New Salem and Seven Valleys Boroughs. Main Street of Spring Grove Borough is also known as State Route 116.

M8540D TRACTOR WITH LA1353 LOADER OWNED
BY SPRING GROVE BOROUGH
NOTICE is given by the Borough of Spring Grove (the “Borough”) that it hereby solicits sealed
bids to purchase the 2011 Kubota M8540D Tractor with LA1353 Loader (collectively the
“Equipment”) showing approximately 1,200 hours on the hour meter, owned by the Borough,
and declared surplus property.
Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Equipment are available by contacting the Borough at (717)
225-5791, or by visiting the Borough’s website at https://www.springgrovepa.gov.
Sealed bids, together with bid security, as required in the Terms and Conditions of Sale must be
received no later than 12:00 noon, prevailing time on Monday, September 21, 2026. Bids shall
be addressed to Kevin Miller, Operations Manager, 1 Campus Avenue, Spring Grove,
Pennsylvania 17362. The bids will be opened and read aloud at the Borough’s public meeting
beginning at 7:00 p.m. on September 21, 2026, at 1 Campus Avenue, Spring Grove,
Pennsylvania 17362. The award of the winning bid will be held at the September 21, 2026
Council meeting, or at a subsequent meting held within forty-five (45) days of the opening of the
bids.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason, in its sole discretion.
